West Bengal Health Recruitment Board (WBHRB) has invited online application form Indian citizens and such other nationals as declared eligible by the government of India for recruitment to the post of assistant professors in West Bengal medical education service under the Health and Family Welfare Department Government of West Bengal.
Applicants who are eligible apply online for the post of assistant professor in West Bengal under the West Bengal Health Recruitment Board.

Candidates belonging to SC/ST of West Bengal and persons with disabilities specified under Disabilities Rule, 1999 (certificates obtained before the Advertisement date) are not required to pay any fee. Such exemption of fee
is, however, not applicable to any OBC (Category A or B) candidate.
No claim for refund of the fee shall be entertained nor will it be held reserved for any other examination.
Application shall be made in the format, as available, in the West Bengal Health Recruitment Board Website (www.wbhrb.in). Application received after the closing date shall be rejected.
Qualification: For the assistant professor post.
Candidates must have completed MBBS degree in the first schedule or second schedule or part -II of the third schedule of the Indian medical council act 1956 (act-102 of 1956) And requisite Post Graduate Degree for the specialties group and requisite Post Doctoral Degree for the super specialities group as prescribed by the Medical Council of India and specified in the “Minimum Qualifications for Teachers in Medical Institutions Regulations 1998” as amended from time to time.
West Bengal health recruitment board may require such further proof for particulars from the candidates as it may consider necessary and made enquiries regarding eligibility.
