There are temporary complications with the undergraduate and postgraduate final year and semester examinations of Gour Banga University. Due to the complexity of the post of Vice-Chancellor of the University, the Vice-Chancellor has not been appointed yet, so Professor Chanchal Chowdhury has been given the charge as a temporary Vice-Chancellor. So the date of exam has not been officially announced yet. However, the Gour Banga University authorities claim that preparations for the examination are going on from October 1 and will continue till October 18 and the both stream results of the examination will be announced on October 31.
Question papers will be uploaded from Gour Banga University’s own portal 30 minutes before the start of the examination, from where the examinees will be able to collect the question papers. The students will then have time to upload the answer sheets on the designated portal of the university till 12:00 PM on that day.
Considering the students in remote areas, especially where there is a problem with the internet system, the university authorities have taken some special steps to provide question papers. In addition, desks will be opened in each college to collect question papers. Candidates can also collect question papers from there. Candidates have to give Roll number and Registration number, then the candidates can collect question papers from any college under this university.
Mr. Bishwarup Sarkar, controller of examinations of Gour Banga University, said the college authorities would be informed about the examinations after the meeting of the executive council committee.
