The facility to check Optical Response Sheet (ORS) will be available for four days at the official website of JEE Advanced. In the same duration, candidates can request review of their ORS image and scanned responses on payment per question.

Calculate your marks as per the marking scheme mentioned in the JEE Advanced 2016 Question Paper. In questions where there is negative marking, marks shall be deducted for incorrect answers. There are multiple choice questions and integer answer type questions.

Declaration of IIT JEE Result on the Basis of JEE Advanced 2016 Answer Key
The marking scheme is clearly mentioned on the front page of the JEE Advanced question paper. Marks are given for correct answer, and deducted for incorrect answer (only in questions with negative marking). For questions containing more than one correct answer, if all responses are not marked, partial / no / negative mark is given as per marking scheme given by IITs.
Candidates are placed in order of merit, as per marks calculated according to the Answer Key of JEE Advanced 2016. All India Rank and Result of JEE Advanced 2016 will be declared after evaluation of ORS and compiling merit.

Paper 1 – 09:00 IST to 12:00 IST.
Paper 2 – 14:00 IST to 17:00 IST.
IIT JEE Answer Keys published before 8th June, 2015 is not official it is only for reference purpose for candidates. JEE Advanced Answer Keys by each coaching institute may vary from each other, as well as from the final official key. In this regard, candidate is expected to exercise his / her judgment in calculating approximate scores and taking decisions thereafter.
