NEET 2017 Removed Three Attempts Bar for All Candidates by CBSE.

Candidates who have already availed permissible three attempts will not apply for NEET 2017.  NEET 2017 Removed Three Attempts Bar limit for All Candidates. Now as first attempt will be counted, who will be appeared in upcoming NEET 2017 entrance exam throughout India. CBSE has published a notification on 03.02.2017 for continuation of Admission in MBBS/BDS courses throughout India, who have already attempted three times and will be counted as first attempt for all the candidates irrespective of their previous attempts in their AIPMT/NEET.

Important Information for applying NEET 2017 for Candidates.

  • CBSE ha declared  in this year NEET 2017 as first attempt counted for all candidates.
  • Candidates who have already attempted three times and will be counted as first attempt for all the candidates irrespective of their previous attempts in their AIPMT/NEET.
  • Changes have been effected by CBSE accordingly in the online Application.

This notification is in continuation of admission notice dated 31.01.2017 vide which the application for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (UG) 2017 for admission to MBBS/BSS Courses through India was launched. As per notice and information bulletin. It was prescribed that the candidates who have already availed permissible three attempts will not be able to apply for NEET – 2017.

Department of Health and family welfare, Govt. of India vide their office letter no. U12023/ 16/2010-ME-II/MEP dated 03.02.2017 has communicated that a clarification has been sought from the Medical Council of India (MCI) and it has been clarified by MCI that attempts made by the candidates for AIPMT/NEET prior to 2017 should not be counted the accordingly appearance in NEET 2017 will be counted as first attempt for all candidates irrespective of their previous attempts in AIPMT/NEET.

Accordingly, it is notified for all concerned that NEET –2017 will be counted as first attempt for all the candidates. Changes have been effected by CBSE accordingly in the online Application.

All candidates who could not fill up the application form due to the condition of three attempts at AIPMT/NEET will now able to fill up their application form.

The previous conditioned in the admission notice dated 31.01.2017 and the Information Bulletin for NEET (UG) – 2017 may be read in accordance with has notification.

Other rules and condition mentioned in admission Notice and Information Bulletin remain in the same.
