The National Board of Examination (NBE) watch setup in 1975 by the government of India wait and objective to improve the quality of Medical Education in this country. the national board of examinations was given responsibility to contact the all India post graduate medical entrance examination for admission to MS/MD, diploma course in Medical colleges of all the states of India except Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Telangana.
AIPGMEE has been replaced by the national eligibility and entrance test NEET. AIPMT also replaced in NEET in the year 2016, the Supreme Court approved the Indian government order to contact NEET age this single medical entrance examination NEET was conducted in two phases in the year 2016.
at present (JIPMER) Jawaharlal  Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research, Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education (PGIM) and All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) are outside the NEET.

NEET-PG 2019 is a qualifying-cum-ranking examination for admission to MD/MS/Post Graduate Diploma courses of 2019 admission session. NEET-PG 2019 will be conducted by National Board of Examinations. Candidates may note that NBE has no role regarding counseling and allotment of seats except for DNB courses. NBE will not entertain any queries regarding availability of seats, counseling and allotment of seats other than for DNB Courses.

MCC will conduct counseling for the following Institutions/Universities:-

a) 50 % All India Quota seats for all State Govt. medical/dental colleges/institutes, except state of Jammu and Kashmir as per merit of PG NEET 2019.
b) For all PG seats of the Deemed Universities as per merit of PG NEET 2019.
c) 50 % institutional quota seats for Central Universities of Delhi University, Aligarh Muslim University, and Banaras Hindu University.
d) PG counseling for institutes of Armed Forces Medical Services.
e) The state Govt. of Andhra Pradesh and Telengana are participating in online counseling of All India Quota from the academic year 2019-20 onwards.

Result Cum Score Card for NEET-PG 2018 – All India 50%Quota Seats
Attention: All applicant candidates for NEET-PG 2018.

  1. The result of NEET-PG 2018 has been declared on 23.01.2018. The merit list in respect of admission to All India 50% quota MD/MS/Post Graduate Diploma Courses (2018 admission session) has been declared and can be seen at NEET-PG website https://nbe.edu.in.

  2. Candidates from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are eligible for All India 50% quota MD/MS/Post Graduate Diploma Courses (2018 admission session) as Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are participating in the counseling for All India 50% quota MD/MS/PG Diploma seats this year.

  3. Candidates who have studied/passed MBBS from the State of Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible for All India 50% quota seats. However, the candidates who were nominated by the Government of India (under central pool seats) to do MBBS from Medical Colleges in Jammu & Kashmir are eligible for admission to All India 50% quota MD/MS/Post Graduate Diploma Courses.

  4. Cut-off scores for All India 50% quota MD/MS/Post Graduate Diploma Courses (2018 admission session) is as follows:

  1. NEET-PG 2018 candidates with scores at or above cut-off scores mentioned above in their respective categories are eligible for participating in the counseling for All India 50% quota MD/MS/PG Diploma seats to be conducted by DGHS, MoHFW. However, candidates with scores at or above cut-off scores but have mentioned wrong or apparently incorrect aggregate MBBS marks in percentage, and have failed to submit scanned copies of their MBBS or equivalent mark sheets despite repeated reminders from NBE to submit these marksheets, shall be ineligible to participate in the online counseling of All India 50% quota seats.

  2. The All India 50% Quota Score card of candidates who are eligible for online counseling for All India 50% quota seats can be seen and downloaded from NEET-PG website https://nbe.edu.in. Copy of score card will not to be sent to individual candidates. Candidature is purely provisional subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria as mentioned in the Information Bulletin for NEET-PG 2018.

  3. The All India 50% Quota Score card mentions:
    a) All India 50% quota rank: This is the overall merit position of the candidate amongst all the candidates who have appeared in NEET-PG 2018 after applying tie-breaker criteria and are eligible for All India 50% quota seats, and is valid for All India 50% quota MD/MS/Post Graduate Diploma Courses of 2018 admission session only

b) All India 50% quota category rank: This is the overall merit position of the candidate in the category (OBC/SC/ST) as opted by the candidate in NEET-PG 2018 for All India 50% quota seats, and is valid for All India 50% quota MD/MS/Post Graduate Diploma Courses of 2018 admission session only.

  1. Please visit website of Medical Counseling Committee www.mcc.nic.in for details of seats available and schedule of counseling.
  2. Qualification to participate in online counseling for All India 50% quota seats does not confer any automatic rights upon the candidates for admission to All India 50% quota MD/MS/Post Graduate Diploma Courses.

  3. All qualified candidates are advised to remain in touch with MCC website (www.mcc.nic.in) and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare website (www.mohfw.nic.in) for information regarding Post Graduate admission process, counseling schedule, instructions etc.

  4. The selected candidates are advised to send their queries regarding counseling, if any, to email id: [email protected] .

NEET-PG 2019 shall be a single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to Postgraduate Medical Courses’ for the academic session 2019 which will include the following:

i. All India 50% quota seats for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses (all States except Andhra Pradesh*, Telangana* and Jammu & Kashmir)

ii. State quota seats for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses for all States/Union territories of India (including the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana & Jammu & Kashmir)

iii. MD/MS/PG Diploma courses at all Private Medical Colleges, Institutions & Universities/Deemed Universities all across the country.

iv. MD/MS/PG Diploma courses at Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions.

v. DNB Broad specialty courses (January 2019 Admission Session)

The following Medical institutions are not covered by centralized admissions for MD/MS seats through NEET- PG for 2019 session:
i. AIIMS, New Delhi
ii. PGIMER, Chandigarh
iii. JIPMER, Puducherry
iv. NIMHANS, Bengaluru
v. Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum
*PG seats of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are likely to be included in 50% All India Quota Seats 2018 subject to confirmation by the respective State Governments to MoHFW, Govt. of India.
